Sportlogiq Joins Hockey Fights Cancer

Cancer is a terrible disease that affects too many of us. We’re all fighting for somebody, and this year Sportlogiq is joining the fight by taking part in #HockeyFightsCancer month. In solidarity with the NHL—and to highlight this important initiative—our social media icons and cover photos will be lavender themed for the month. We’ll also be collecting donations from Sportlogiq staff and making a lump sum donation to Hockey Fights Cancer™ (HFC) at the end of the month.

Founded in 1998 by the National Hockey League® and the National Hockey League Players’ Association, HFC unites the hockey community in support of cancer patients and their families. The initiative gets an assist from players, coaches, officials, equipment managers, front office staff, corporate partners, and fans. Together, the hockey family looks to inspire hope and courage for those who are living with, going through, and moving past cancer. 

November is Hockey Fights Cancer Month across the NHL. Each of the 31 NHL Clubs will celebrate their own Hockey Fights Cancer Night. In addition to promoting lavender colored apparel, equipment, and more.  

Hockey Fights Cancer will, once again, help the American Cancer Society, Canadian Cancer Society, and Movember Foundation provide a better quality of life for patients, caregivers, and their families.

Cancer has also touched the Sportlogiq family. This cause is close to our hearts, and we’re honored to be doing our part.
