February is set to be a busy month for the entire Sportlogiq team. From talks showcasing our progress in AI research to sports betting conferences, we live at the intersection of sports and technology. We’re always looking to strengthen our relationships with the leaders in these industries. ICE London – The World’s Gaming Innovation Showcase

On February 4th to 6th, find out what Sportlogiq is bringing to the sports betting space when the Sportlogiq leadership team attends ICE London. The conference will feature over 600 solutions and over 35,000 professionals across all sectors of gaming. ICE London is the world’s biggest betting and gaming conference, and the ideal place to discuss the future of this fast moving industry.

Columbus Blue Jackets Hockey Analytics Conference

Our partners, the Columbus Blue Jackets, will be hosting a Hockey Analytics Conference on February 8th and 9th. This two-day conference will showcase state-of-the-art research happening in the hockey analytics community and explore the use of data-driven analysis being done by industry professionals today.

We’ll also be providing event data at the conference to support the contest. This marks the first time our analytics will be made available in a public capacity.

Meet up with our Hockey Analytics Team Lead, David Yu, our Director of Hockey Operations, Matt Perri, and our VP Hockey and Operations, Christopher Boucher, on February 8th as the conference is open to the general public.

Scotiabank – Quebec Growth Technology Conference

Sportlogiq’s CEO and Co-Founder, Craig Buntin, will be giving a talk on AI in sport at the Quebec Growth Technology Conference on February 11th in Montreal. Craig joins a high-profile roster of CEOs from industry leading companies such as Stradigi AI, Hopper, LANDR, and more.

 

AAAI 2020

Join our CTO and Co-Founder, Mehrsan Javan, as he delivers a keynote presentation on his work on Real-time Sport Analytics at AAAI 2020 in New York. Also, be sure to check out SLiQ Labs Director of Predictive Analytics Research, Oliver Schulte’s, papers on “Valuing Sports Actions and Players with Inverse Reinforcement Learning” and “Learning Contextualized Player Representations with A Variational Hierarchical Encoder”.

 

Leicester City Football Club – Tactical Insights Conference

Sportlogiq is proud to be partnering with the English Premier League’s Leicester City Football Club at their Tactical Insights event on February 19th. Join our Soccer Data Analyst, Sam Gregory, our Soccer/Football Account Manager, Jens Fjellstrom, our VP of Sales, Blaine Patterson, and our VP of Marketing, Simon Banoub, as they discuss the new contextual metrics Sportlogiq and our pro tool PiTCH are bringing to the game. Sam and Jens will also be giving their presentation on “Identifying Patterns in the Breakthrough Phase”

NFL Scouting Combine

Our VP of Sales, Blaine Patterson, and our Director of Football Operations, David Goldman, will be joining our new partners, Telemetry Sports and XOS Digital, at the  NFL Scouting Combine held in Indianapolis on February 23rd. We’ll be meeting with multiple teams and discussing ways we can help bring their programs to the next level.
