MONTREAL – QC
Sportlogiq and the Boston University Terriers Men’s Hockey Program announced today a new partnership that will see Sportlogiq provide advanced analytics and services to the Terriers coaches and hockey operations staff.
Former NCAA forward and Sportlogiq’s Senior Manager of Business Development, Derek Arnold, had this to say about the partnership: “We’re excited to bring on our first Hockey East partner out of the NCAA. We believe it’s important that developing coaches, staff, and players, are prepared to make the next step in their careers. Having access to the same tools and metrics that are used at the highest levels in hockey will serve to further their development.”
The Terriers assistant coach, Kim Brandvold, added “Sportlogiq is a great platform and we are thrilled to be able to utilize their services to aid us in the development of our student athletes individually, as well as for overall team performance. In today’s games, having the proper resources and information are so important and we are lucky to partner with Sportlogiq for those reasons.”
Through the partnership, the Terriers Men’s Hockey program will receive access to Sportlogiq’s iCE platform, which will provide them with essential metrics, video, and analytics. Sportlogiq’s iCE platform is currently trusted by 30 National Hockey League teams and over 150 professional, university, junior, and national teams across Europe and North America.
Sportlogiq covers an abundance of data, including game statistics, team and player profiles, metrics, and access to video clips to a wide variety of leagues for coaching, scouting, and development purposes.
Through the new partnership, Boston University becomes Sportlogiq’s first partner out of NCAA Hockey East.
