SPORTLOGiQ, the AI-powered sports analytics company, have received recognition from Deloitte as one of their Companies-to-Watch in the 2018 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards. The award spotlights emerging companies that exhibit strong growth and show potential to be a future candidate of the Technology Fast 50 award.

SPORTLOGiQ’s CEO, Craig Buntin, credits the company’s early stage success to its ability to offer its partners unparalleled levels of data to engage with fans, tell powerful stories, and drive team performance. “It’s exciting to see the impact we’re having on teams, our broadcast partners, and sports betting partners,” Buntin said. “It’s an honour to be recognized by Deloitte and it validates our efforts to bring AI to the sports industry.”

The company is also the Official Performance Data Supplier of 26 National Hockey League (NHL) teams as well as teams across the National Football League (NFL), European football leagues, and more.

Companies-to-Watch winners are new companies headquartered in Canada, demonstrating superior technology, effective management experience and common traits of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 award winners. To be eligible, candidates must also devote a significant portion of their operating revenues to creating proprietary technology or intellectual property.

“We’re proud to recognize this year’s Companies-to-Watch winners, not only to celebrate their early achievements, but also their potential moving forward,” said Erica Pretorius, Partner and National Leader for the Technology Fast 50™ program at Deloitte Canada. “This year’s winners are integral in setting the example for younger, emerging companies on how to be courageous, seek opportunity and take calculated risks.”
